Being a childminder means I am different from a nursery as I can only look
after a certain amount of children at any one time and therefore I can
offer lots of individual attention to the children. I also provide a homely
environment and this seems to appeal to parents as they know the child has
all the comforts and security of a home setting as well as having other
children to play with. I have children of mixed age so your child will
learn to be comfortable around older and younger children. I am also
extremely flexible, which comes in handy if either parent works shifts. I
can also offer care for your child from babyhood right through to secondary
school, which means your child will have a great sense of security and
continuity whilst your child is in my care. They will participate in many
different activities such as role-play, dress up, crafts, stories, dancing
and lots more!
